Answers:
You are depressed. Keep talking to the therapist and reaching out. You may benefit from medication too.
It could very well be depression. Especially if you were diagnosed with it in the past. Go see your doc... They are there to help you. Try to pray. Christianity cured me, it can cure you too.
It could be depression, but you have allot of other things going on in your life too, tell your therapist these feeling your telling us they should be able to help you or give you medication, Congratulations on quitting smoking I'm still working on that one.
Sorta sounds more like a mid-life crisis, questioning where you are, how you got there, where to now. I'm not saying there isn't depression involved, just that it sounds more like the life type that will respond to therapy best. Speaking of which, what's your therapist say? If s/he is recommending anti-depressants, then you should probably give them some serious thought. If not, then hang with the therapy for a while. Therapy in itself can be very challenging, which might be part of what's going on as well.
Sounds like you have a mix of depression and anxiety. I have the same mix. Keep talking to your therapist and ask about medications. I had to start taking medication to help both my anxiety and my depression and they really help. I'm still not happy..but I'm not terrified anymore, nor am I constantly thinking about death all the time. Medication helps you see the light at the end of the tunnel and keeps you motivated to reach it.
Its kind of hard .i think you need and evaluation I had depression and I've been taking medication. Now i'm fine.
No, it sounds more like a little bit of general confusion, you'll be fine, thou you may wish to speak further to your therapist about it.
