Can someone make himself to dream. On purpose?

Question:

Answers:
Yes you can have dreams you can control if that is what you are asking!

They are called lucid dreams, they are dreams which you are aware are not real and you can control the dream with as much clarity as normally being awake. Not to mention you can do pretty much anything you can think of!

(I tend to just either fly like super man or I like to drive really fast in cars I like in my dreams, since im a car enthusiast!)

Hard to believe until youve experienced what your own brain can do then you will be plain amazed!

Here is a site which you should find useful!

www.dreamviews.com

They tend to be rare but with the training regime they have on that site you will find your self having these "lucid dreams" with in a month or less and the dreams you can control will be vivid and just plain cool!

Best of luck!
i don't think so, it would be great if we could make our self to dream on purpose
If you are asking this because you are one of these people who never dream, or at very least don't remember dreaming then...

You are more likely to dream if you are hot, you don't really enter REM sleep if your body is too cold. Also, if you have more Omega 3's (think fish, mmm Salmon), you are much more likely to dream then if your body is low on these.

Also, if you sleep with someone your body is likely to match their sleep patterns, so if you sleep with a light sleeper, or are affected by other environmental conditions (eg living near train tracks), then it is quite possible you never or at least rarely get to a REM state in your sleep.

Regarding remembering dreams, try telling yourself as the last thing before you go to sleep that you would like to remember your dream, I find it helps a lot.
