Zoloft Withdrawl Effects?
Question:
Answers:
Withdrawel last way more than 4 days, believe me!
I speak from direct experience!
When getting off these drugs the best way to do it is to taper slowly for the least amount of side effects. It is very frustrating to be going through what you are going through and the professionals do not understand and think you are sick when it is just plain withdrawel from the meds.I tried getting off my antidepressant and could not do it, I was sick for 6 mths straight and just wanted to feel some relief. Please visit this site to talk to others about it.They talk alot about paxil but there are others who know alot about Zoloft and alot of other meds and I have been through it successfully.I feel for you and hope you feel better soon!
It does sound like withdrawal. Are you taking yourself off of the medication or is your doctor helping you to slowly decrease your dose? The way I read your question, it sounds like you went from 200 mg to 50mg...am I understanding that right or did you go from 200mg to 150mg, etc, something like that? Talk to your doctor about your symptoms...4 days is a long time to be having those kind of symptoms. Hope this helps.
maybe got off the drug too fast. Need to taper off more slowly, give it more time.
you will need to go on a supervised withdrawal with your doctor.
zoloft makes me feel like this when i come off it too. i was on 100mg, now down to 25mg.
i came off it entirely for a while and got those withdrawals, they did last for maybe two months? but a few months after i had gone through that, something little happened that upset me and i reacted very badly.
best of luck to you - be careful coming off this, take it super slow.
you don't want to end up like me - coming off with no doctor assistance and ending up with an assault charge against my best friends boss!
