For the past week whenever I try to sleep I get these huge adrenalin rushes and cant sleep?
Question:
Answers:
How do you explain what an adrenalin rush is? What makes you think that is what you are experiencing? What are you eating or drinking during the day and before you try to go to sleep? Have you evaluated what your activites are before bed and do you worry and stress? You may need a medical evaluation. Caffeine and sugar or stimulants can keep you awake. Worry and stress can also prevent rest. Excercise in the evening can get you stirred up too before bed.
Have you been evaluated for an anxiety disorder?
You may need meds for just a while to help you get back on track.
sorry, i have no idea. unfortunately, i have the same problem and I'm only 12.
best of luck
Try reading something smoothing and try to relax.
i have the same problem lol then like during school or whatever when you fall asleep you wake up like jumping lol and everyone jus looks hahhaha i kno it sucks but yeah i dont know what it is either
Pamalama is right. I find that the later in the day that I exercise, the longer it takes for me to be able to relax enough to fall asleep. You may want to monitor your evening activities.
See sleep disorders, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 3, and practise one of the relaxation techniques on page 2, in bed, after lights out.
Start preparing for sleep much earlier.
Turn off the TV an hour before going to bed.
Read something relaxing.
Write things down that you are thinking about and leave them there until the morning.
Do a progressive relaxation exercise. Starting at your toes scrunch them up and relax them, then your ankles, then your calves, then your knees. Do this with each group of muscles all the way to the top of your head.
