Worrying to death about $$?

you are definitly not worthless, you are trying your hardest! You need to start using your resources. Ask you friends and family if they know of anyone who is hiring. At this point, you should take any job even a low paying one to help with immediate bills, and keep looking for a better one at the same time. I know places like grocery stores, walmart, target, etc are almost always hiring. Not fun, but its a job. Also, is there any way you can move in with your parents for a short time? Paying them rent would be much cheaper than being on your own.
Oh GOD. First of all, stop the "scum of the earth" crap. The best of us have been to a place like this, ok? And the best of us have been depressed and did not figure out a way NOT to be broke until much much later than 24! So you're not in such a bad shape ;-) In the meantime, get the book "Secrets of a Millionaire Mind" by T. Harv Eker - for cheap on Amazon or eBay or in a book store or wherever. Trust me, it will change your life - not to mention that it is an easy and entertaining read. Will make you laugh, and has tips and advice on how to change your situation immediately without huge effort (of course, if you want a considerable lasting effect, some effort will be necessary - duh! - and it may not necessarily be getting a job). Mind you, it is not a "get rich quick" scheme - none of that crap that asks you to invest into this or that and you will miraculously retire a millionaire. Very down to earth and practical, yet very funny and effective. Read it, then let me know how your life changed!
So as you say it is your motivation that is the problem.
Is it possible to take the same motivation to not go looking for work and turn it around to make it go look for work.
You are thinking your way to bankruptcy.
Start thinking about something you really want and start working to get it.
If you have no food on your table that will definitely motivate you to work.

Firstly, there is no shame at all in being poor, or 5 billion people would feel that way. See depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, and insomnia, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on pages 2, 6, 5, and 3. Volunteer, even from home, at first: (see page 9, too) in Australia, those working at Meals on Wheels often get to eat, free, or try a soup kitchen. Money is just pieces of paper: a means of accounting for goods and services, and has no intrinsic value; it is no reason to be depressed, much less suicidal: look at the poor multitudes of India; many with virtually nothing are very happy! What about babysitting, while you do the more lucrative online surveys? Check the online job agencies, register as a temp., go around local businesses, hotels, restaurants, ask friends and relatives, read the positions vacant in the newspapers at your library. Try the charities. Have you registered for unemployment yet?
