Hypnotherapy is a wonderful way to relax, reduce stress and to get better quality sleep with no side effects.
You can visit a Hypnotherapist for a one to one session or get a self help CD (or download)

If I was you I would get an appointment with my doctor and discuss this with him or her.
It could be nothing but when I had times that were not so good and sleeping too much and then I had exactly the opposite where I was not sleeping at all and felt great I went to see my doctor. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. You may want to talk to a therapist or a physiologist about this and get there opinion. I would not just let it slide if it keeps up
you could have insomnia i have that sometimes i wont fall asleep for three straight days and ill still feel good but just make an appointment with a doctor and tell him or her.
Best to see someone than suffer in silence. A good doctor can help you establish good sleep hygiene and routines. If necessary he/she can refer you to a sleep study
Going from feeling low (depression) symptoms to alot of energy (hypomania) symptoms sounds like possible Bipolar Disorder.
Have it checked by a psychiatrist. If it's nothing, you only wasted a little money & time. If it's something, you can get treatment to help you for life!
My sleeping schedule has changed, but its probably because I'm not on a strict schedule. How you feel and whether or not you sleep well can depend on your diet. Problems in your life can keep you awake so that you can try to figure things out.
Some people seem to require a lot of sleep to be able to function and feel well. There is healing while you sleep.
I see that you enjoy sleeping. It feels terriffic! I remember what that's like. But, you have got to get up to take care of your responsibilities and get into life! Don't be a dead head. Sleepy, lazy punk.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
Are you BiPolar? This can explain the mood difference/change. Any history of depression, mood swings?? Do you experience days that you feel overconfident, on " top of the world" and then, have days when you have all that you can do to get your butt out of bed?? Before you do anything, have your primary Doc rule out any underlying physical problem. I hope that this helps.
