I saw on a recent episode of Entorage on HBO that the one guy was prescribed medical marijuana for his anxiety

Is this legal and practiced all over the U.S.? I have anxiety problems, and have never heard of such a thing.

I've never really heard of it prescribed for anxiety...but for other medical issues such as pain, glaucoma...idk really what else...but that'd be great cause I have anxiety too and when I smoke it really helps haha
Yes, many people are prescribed medical marijuana for illnesses. It is primarily used for patients suffering (usually dying) from stage 4 cancer. It is very difficult to get a doctor to prescribe it but it is possible.
No... it isn't practiced all over the US. Medical marijuana is only legal in a few states.
Its perscriped in California. Good luck getting it.
