Why does zoloft make me want to stay awake even when I am tired?

because it's an antidepressant...it acts by keeping you going, giving you energy to do things. that's why it's keeping you awake. try taking it in the morning so it won't bother your sleep in the evening.
start taking it when you wake up. it did the same thing to me...it just happens.
