Do i have OCD? (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) please help?

Question:
I'm a 12 year old girl.
I think i have OCD, ive spoken to my parents but they dont believe me.
Whenever i think/say or somebody else says something that can be twisted in any possible way into something bad i have to touch the right side of my head with my hand.
I do it ALL the time and its really getting be down.
Also sometimes i have to walk up/down the stairs a certain way (missing steps etc) other wise something bad might happen. Inside i know it wont but i have to do it!
I'm quite embarrised asking this question and dont want to go to the doctors so if your a doctor of some sort pleeeeease help me.
Thank you

Answers:
You may have it.
The "missing steps on stairs, because something bad might happen" sounds like OCD disorder.
See a specialist if possible.
I think that is more of a habit than an ocd

Ocd's are generally something that " Has to be there " Or " Can't be any other way " to you if you catch my drift.
yeah, that's pretty much OCD. but it sounds like a mild case. i have a pretty mild case too. i don't know what kind of help you can get, but just get used to it and you'll live with it. if it concerns you, ask to go see a doctor but it's not a big deal. good luck.
A lot of people have little quirks--as long as it isnt ruining your life, its not a big deal.
IF YOU HAVE A COUNSELOR AT SCHOOL TALK WITH HIM OR HER
Oh those guilty habits.

Why do you twist what other people say or do into something bad?

How do you know when to do this?

Can you twist them into something good or funny too?

And if you twist into something good are you still touching your head?

Oh its your head and, your imagination isn't it ? So imagine something nice instead.
