Kinda worried?

if you think you are in real danger or your situation could be worse, then go to the hospital and have your wound checked. you worry too much
Go to the hospital if you can't stop the bleeding. If you've stopped the bleeding, you're fine. Keep the wound clean, but if you see any signs of infection, call your doctor. A lot of the time stitches are just for asthetic purposes to prevent scarring.
Hello kgoodwriter,
Yes you should see a consultant surgeon (likely will require a referral). He/she will make the determination for stiches or not. If the wound is deep and unlikely to heal naturally, stitches will close the wound nicely. You will likely require an injection prior to the stitching and also if you've not been vacinated for tetanus in the last 10 years. It's not that bad. You've been vacinated before and are still here. So try to fret not unnessarily.
Good luck and God's speed.

To be on the safe side I would go to the doctor. They have these an alternative to stiches...it like a glue. They pull the skin together tightly and put a "glue" type over the cut and then a butterfly bandage.
If your that scared I would go just to be safe!
