My prescription adderall is not available in Korea - how/what can I get instead?

I'll be living in Korea for over a year and I know there are other over-the-counter amphetamines available there but I'm not sure A) if they're relatively comparable and B) what they're called or how to find them, especially with Korean packaging; any explicit advice would be great, However, I'm also wondering if it's legal for me to order my pills online and have them shipped there, or if that's even feasible. Alternatively, is it possible for me to fill an adderall prescription in a nearby country (Japan, China, etc) if all else fails? Anyone who has dealt with managing their ADHD while living and working in (South) Korea, or anyone in the medical field there who might know, I would really appreciate the advice!

I recently read an article about a study that said the main cause of ADHD is just sleep deprivation. Might not be the case with you but trying to lay off the prescription drugs and getting a better nights sleep could be an alternative

Every country has their own laws regarding controlled substances, so you'd have to check with each surrounding country before having it filled there. I have no idea what's available in Korea, but the one drug you'll probably find is Ritalin. The common drug name (generic name) is called Methylphenidate. That is comparable to Adderall. The dose of the methylphenidate will depend on the dose of Adderall you are taking now. Check with your doctor.

I get my meds from all different countries because I don't have insurance. I have never had a problem. The below site lists pharmacies on line. Some require a prescription and some don't. You can get some unbelievable prices. Good luck.

hey did you get any good information? i am in your same situation: just got to SK and need to get my prescription filled.

i took my prescription bottle to a pharmacy in SK and they were like "whoa, yea you need a prescription for that..."
