Can't concentrate/focus in Manhattan?

Question:
When I'm in Manhattan I can't concentrate or think about anything. I can see things, but I don't really see them. But mostly my vision is different, its like I can't focus on anything.

Its a weird feeling I get everytime I'm there, even when I lived there.

Anyone know what it is?

Answers:
Information overload, your senses are swamped by the sites, sounds, and activities. I grew up in Brooklyn, and would have the same feeling going to Manhattan, believe it or not, glad to get back home to Brooklyn to where it was quieter.
Sounds like Vertigo.
it isnt vertigo. BELIEVE ME, if you had vertigo you would have been barfing your eyes out. eww gross. anyway, it might just be becuase of the big city, cars passing and racing by, lights flashing, people everywhere, everything is spinning around you and you have no time to take it in really, because by then it has all moved on and something else is there. it sounds like you just have a hard time in that environment. certian people just dont work well in certian places.
u r overwhelmed by the big city...
