Yes I have and it helped a bit. It was later added as a supplement to my anxiety medication so I didn't have to take as much of the medication.
I tried it for a month several years ago when it first got some publicity. I didn't notice any allieviation of my symptoms, but I was sleepier than usual. However these things are highly subjective, so what anyone here says may not be how you will react. Since there isn't really any known downside to the stuff (well I guess sleepiness is a small downside) you may as well give it a try! Good Luck!
it's suppose to help with mild depression. it work's when i have a cup of tea of it. i can really see the difference. for anxiety i dont know. i'm not sure. it's suppose to lift you up. anxiety? you want something that's going to calm you down. try some chamomile. oh try sleepytime tea. well one of those tea's that calm you down. chamomile work's for me. but it's a taste that take's getting use to.
good luck. i know that stink's when you think you have something to help and it turn's out no. but do go to the grocery store and look in the health food isle. there they will have tea's such as yogi tea or one of those brand's. and they have alot of different combonation's of herbal tea's that can help. good luck
I tried it for depression, and it was helpful when the depression was mild, but strong depression overwhelmed it.
One thing to know about it -it can cause photosensitivity. Meaning you get sunburn more easily than you ordinarily do. It did that to me! So you might want to pull out the sunscreen and sunglasses too. (Not sure if it effects the eyes, but you might want to play it safe.)
