Help until i get a therapist?

Question:
on august 1st i'm getting my health insurance back since my dad gets his new job. until then i have to get through a week and a half of summer school. i havent been eating normally, i can't eat real food other than crackers and such and i can't push myself to eat after a certain time because i feel so sick that im afraid if i eat it will make it worse and carry on into the morning and make me feel MORE sick during school...

school is 6 hours long for 2 classes [my agoraphobia is the reason i'm in summer school to bein with] and i'm always afraid i'm going to get sick during school even though that hasn't happened before.

anyone know what i can do when i feel this way at school, or what i can do at home to prevent the symptoms?

Sweet Pea this really sounds serious. It almost sounds like a eating disorder. You probably want to try eating fruits and anything that is green like broccoli or green beans etc. It has folic acid in these items which is really good for what you are going through, at least until you see a specialist.
When you find yourself getting scared, try taking some deep breaths. Tell yourself, "this is a feeling, and it will pass. I'm safe here." It might help to look around the room, and focus on the room around you, the feel of the chair you're sitting on, etc.-pay attention to other things to take your attention off the fear. I'd try this one when the fear was small, 'cause it might make it worse- you just have to test it out. Notice that sometimes the feelings of fear and sickness go away, or get less- you're not stuck in them forever.

Does anybody else at school know what you're going through? Do you have a friend or can you talk to your teachers? It might help to know that there's a sympathetic person in the room. Check them out before you tell them, though- are they good friends and decent teachers? Unsympathy sucks!

Maybe try bringing some small thing from home that's reassuring to you- a little stuffed animal on a key ring, a rock you can carry in your pocket, a book you like. When you're feeling upset you can hold or look at that thing, and it might remind you that you are OK, and that soon you will be going home.

Good luck- August is not that far away!
Whatever it is you just want to fix it right? I suffered from anxiety and depression for more than 20 years. I have lost friends, been suicidal and nearly destroyed my marriage. I have tried Medications and counsellors, they did not help in the long run, the ONLY thing that snapped me out of it FINALLY was EFT (emotional freedom technique) Go to www.emofree.com, download their free startup manual and start helping yourself and others. It sounds too easy, but it works! It's totally free so there is no harm in trying, there is no one to rip you off, only free information that can save your life. I'm so glad I can tell you about this now and not have another person go through what I have gone through. Happy tapping!
