Question:
and im not somekind of housewife or overweight person im 15 i just hate wasting stuff
Answers:
Can you ask a friend or neighbour if they can keep some stuff in their fridge for you?
Try not to worry about it. Like you said, you aren't gonna go fixing it at midnight and worrying definately isn't gonna fix it either so just relax and wait til tomorrow. It will be ok! Good luck!
It's just food! Don't sweat it ;o)
Yeah there's not much u can do @ midnight but throw out nething you think might spoil. Better safe than sorry.
Move as much stuff as you can to the freezer then keep the doors shut. The freezer will keep the food or at least most of it overnight because everything is starting from a frozen state. If you have anyone you can call this late call and see if they can take some of the perishables to their house overnight.
Isn't there an adult in the home--um...like your parents ?? This is alot of responsibility for a 15 year old.
How would you be able to fix a refrigerator, anyway ??
I'm older and would not have a clue.
Do you have a cooler that you could put some of the perishables in ?
Neighbors that may be available to help in the morning ??
Do you have a freezer? Transfer some of the stuff that you know can be frozen into the freezer, and maybe eat as much as you can. Feed some to the dog?
Do you have any camping coolers? If you have those, put all the food you can fit into them, and if you have any ice, put as much as you can in them.
You can also fill up the sink with freezing cold water and put jugs of milk and stuff in it, as long as the water doesn't touch the lid and it doesn't float. (So that water doesn't get in)
Fruit and vegetables should be fine overnight, but you might want to put them in the cooler as well if they fit.
If it were winter, I'd suggest keeping it outside, when I was nine we didn't have a fridge for three months, but it was winter so it was okay, we just kept our food in the snow.
