Take some kind of over the counter medicine that has a sleeping supplement in it. Also, listening to music can sometimes help. Try not to think about things that have happened throughout the day.
OoOoOoOo you should buy a tempur pedic trust me its soo comfortable
There are sleep aids that you can buy at a grocery store or you can get a perscription from your doctor. I think Celebrex is one of the perscription sleep aids.
Some of the non-perscription sleep aids might be more likely to be habit forming, so be careful.
I have insomnia too and it really sucks. Good luck!
try going to bed earlier and just shut ur eyes and relax. if that doesnt work, try sleeping a half hour earlier each night until ur at the ideal time.
See insomnia, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... on page 3.

1. In my opinion, i would never take sleeping pills. But it you want, you can.
2. Here is some advice, whenever i want to go to sleep, i stay awake as long as i can...it makes me really tired.
3. You may be sleeping too much. I mean, if you sleep that late and wake up really late...that may be why you can't sleep at night. What time do you wake up?
4. Try starting to sleep around 10 or 11pm.
5. DONT drink coffee, eat anything with starch, sugar, and any other stuff that makes you excited or hyper.
That's all i can think of. I'm sry if it doesn't work out...You may want to console your doctor. Good luck.
How is it treated?
Treatment for insomnia focuses on the reason why you don't sleep well. If you have a medical problem, such as chronic pain, or an emotional problem, such as stress, treating that problem may help you sleep better. You may be able to sleep better by making some small changes. It may help to:
Go to bed at the same time each night.
Get up at the same time each day.
Avoid caffeine or alcohol for several hours before bedtime.
Get regular exercise.
Avoid daytime naps.
Some people may need medicine for a while to help them fall asleep. Doctors often prescribe medicine for a short time if other treatment isn't working. But medicine doesn't work as well over time as do lifestyle and behavior changes.3 It can also become habit-forming. Medicine works best as a short-term treatment combined with lifestyle and behavior changes.
Your doctor may also recommend counseling, which can help you learn new habits that may help you sleep better.
Talk to your doctor about your sleep problems and any other health issues you may have. This is important, because lack of sleep can lead to depression, accidents, problems at work, marital and social problems, drinking more alcohol than usual, and poor health. Treatment may help you avoid these problems and feel better.
okay, you have several options, 1. Chew valarian root, you can find it at nearly any heatlhy suplement store, 2. rotezerm works for me, go and ask your doctor about it 3, go get READY for bed earlyeir than normal, and it helps to meditate or to make dreams up, puts you in a deep concentrated state and you fall asleep, so in other words, think really deep and hard.
First of all, stay off the computer at night!! haha, i used to do the same thing...(still do every now and then). But if you wake up early most the time you'll get tired early as well, and fall asleep earlier. Also, if you're active during the day, that will also make you tired, or atleast your muscles and if your muscles are exhausted usually it will catch up with your mind and help you fall asleep earlier. Also make sure you are drinking enough water, and eating three HEALTHY square meals a day, or ATLEAST TWO...because I know many skip breakfast. Lunch is a must and Dinner is a DEFINANT! Many times if your "full" from a meal, you become drowsy, and/or sleepy. Also, don't work or start on projects at night, things like that will MOTIVATE you to stay up. Things like School/work projects, or arts and crafts, or hobby-like things. I sleep with a fan, (or "sound machine"...purchased in the JC Penney Catalog), that will help drown out any noise, lulling your mind into sleep. Darkness will also, so nightlights, halllights, bedroom lights, moonlight could keep you up too, even when you're trying to fall asleep, so best bet is to make sure it's dark...because then there's nothing to stare at also. HOPE THIS HELPS!!
Oh boy...I have the same problem--days and nights mixed up.
I'm trying to get up a little earlier each morning.
Do not take a nap during the day.
Do some strenuous exercises or activities throughout the day.
Keep busy as much as possible.
Try to go to bed a bit earlier each night.
Read to make yourself relax or
Do some breathing exercises when you get into bed.
Relax-- start from your toes and focus on each toe telling them to relax. Work to your ankles, legs and so on.
Eat an apple or a piece of cheese before you retire.
Good Luck to you !!
Melatonin is available over the counter. It is the hormone in your body that makes you sleepy. Check the Internet for dosage and other information. Maybe set a goal of trying to go to bed a half hour earlier every week.
If you need a prescription, generic Ambien is available as of last month.
There are other medications like Tylenol P.M. or antihistamines that can cause drowsiness.
