It is part of life - and it doesn't particularly sound to me like you are a screw up. How in the world did you cause those dogs to attack you? That was the dog owner's screw up. Speaking of which - if you can locate the dog owner you should present them with your medical bills and if they don't pay then you should file a claim in small claim's court or sue for damages if it is over the small claims limit. If my dog had done that I wouldn't be able to sleep at night until I knew the person was completely taken care of.
And the two car violations - total learning experiences. Too bad they were costly mistakes, but not an indication that you are a screw up.
Sometimes you go along in life and everything is fine until you hit a run of this kind of thing. Take it for what it's worth, but I usually try to find the 'cosmic lesson' that's in it for me. For example - all of my 'cosmic lessons' revolve around a reminder that I am not in control of everything. The more up tight and 'controlling' I become the more things that happen that I absolutely cannot control - all I can do is keep managing and moving. When I 'let go' of everything uncontrollable, things usually go back to kind of normal :) Geez, you'd think I'd get it, but it's quite the cycle.
Hope your cycle ends soon!
That's life. Okay, so you made a mistake and parked somewhere where you were not supposed to, ah well. The traffic ticket, that too happens. Maybe you just weren't thinking. Be more careful.
The dogs? Sue the owners of the dogs for your medical bills.
You know the saying, "Shite happens," it is true.
Getting mauled by the Dobermanns weren't your fault. Parking in a lot where you shouldn't is your fault, but normally wouldn't have had such a consequence. You are going through a string of bad luck and perhaps not thinking through everything you do (most of us don't). Quit beating yourself up. It is a bad time for you. Learn from the mistakes you can do something about and let go of the rest. By the way, those Dobermanns. The owner could be responsible for what they did to you. Did you ever check that out?
