Okay. Here's one of those old home remedies. I did not believe it would work, but it did for me. Warm some milk and put honey in it and then mix in nutmeg. It really is quite good and helps with the sleep.
Don't eat much but a bowl of cereal or a slice of toast would probably sit on your stomach ok. Going for a walk can be a good solution for sleeplessness. I've always felt the warm milk thing is disgusting!

maybe because you are hungry, it can make you awake. so eat!!
it can cause you serious problem if you starving all time (not just sleeping troubles)

here is some things that will put you to sleep:
-read a really boring book
-put in a boring movie
-mess around on the computer, play a really boring game
-start counting backwards from 500
-put in some calm music
this one may sound weird but sometimes it works
-put in some rock music
just do something really boring and you should get to sleep pretty quick
