Do I have Insomnia?

Question:
I'm 12 years old. It takes me a very long time to sleep. I sometimes wake up during the night and I can't get back to sleep for a while (probably goes for 1-2 hours) . I don't wake up that early. I wake up around 8:00 - 11:00 am. Is this a problem? Or is it normal?

Answers:
more than likely its normal. You need to have a pattern as in going to bed at the same time every night and getting up at the same time every day. The body loves ritual and in time you will get use to it and sleep much better.
no not really...

because still you wake up late.
this means that your body is catching up for the hours you miss your sleep.

your just in balance. consult a doctor to be more specific.

at your age I'm like you...

hehe

GOD BLESS
STAY HEALTHY
no, your sleeping habits are messed up. I have the same problem. I go to bed at around 12 then wake up at around 11 in the morning. try setting an alarm so you can wake up earlier making you tired so you go to bed and stay asleep. try this for a couple of weeks then if it doesn't help talk to your doctor he may give you some sleeping pills,
Sleeping till eleven throws off your sleep pattern.
Go to bed at same time each night and get up at the same time each morning.
It sounds like you are getting more than enough sleep. With insomnia you go without getting enough sleep to get through your day.
