I take it and I don't know if youd consider it a side effect but I've notice and so has my husband that im more "in a daze" emotionless. I still get happy sad ect. but the moods that you experience through the day are no where near as up and down. A tip to: make sure you always take it or wean yourself if you decide to stop taking otherwise your hormones go way out of wack for a while.

been on it for years. no side effects. i was on paxil and it pretty much ruined my sex drive. but lexapro is awesome and also helps with anxiety.

I was on it and can't think of any side effects that I had. It wasn't as effective for me as some of the others. I did not gain weight on it as I had on many others. I think I was thirsty. That's about it.
I gained weight, That is about all the side affects I have. If I forget to take it Im a meanie
I took lexapro and I could not sleep and i was sweating all the time.
It made me more crazy...

I'm on 10mg of Lexapro for anxiety. I had a few side effects when I first started it, like feeling sick to my stomach and very lethargic. I've been on it for at least a month now and I don't really have any side effects now.
