Hey man... that took balls. I would think she will respect you for being so open and actually feel closer to you in the end. IF the poems are seriously depressing (like suicidal) just explain that you felt that way AT ONE TIME but not today. Everyone gets depressed... she should understand.

Dont worry unless she is a total which she will still talk to you. if she has any feeling towards you she will see your poems as you letting into your darker side and letting her know more about you. chick dig poetry. next time write one for her. maybe you'll get some good feedback. All songs are pretty much poetry. musicians get chicks, worth a shot it's worked for me a few times. It adds to you Renaissance man effect dude.
the poems are not a problem in themselves, but you are clearly obsessing, and people who obsess tend to get rejected.
Get it clear in your head whether this person is attracted to you or not. I'm afraid you'll start stalking her if she rejects you.
If you've got that little problem under control, ...relax...they're just poems, and there are other fish in the sea anyway, if she's not down with them.
If you think the poems are a sign of a serious problem in you, address it with courage.
