How can i calm down?


Question:
i just got home from a big trip and i am really feeling edgy an nervous and i just need to catch up on things, but its late and i need to calm down. im getting very anxious.

Answers:
How about take a deep breath and count from 1 to 10. Deeps breaths can help bring good amount of oxygen to your brain which makes you think more effectively and relaxes your mind.
Drink! That always calms me down...
You need to put on some Bob Marley and smoke.
Tylenol PM will help you chill out. Just take two and you'll be fine.
Or, you could try and do things that will help calm you down, like taking a bubblebath, or reading a book.
Excercise usually reduces your stress and listen to calm music helps.

Take a nice long hot bath with candle light...play some nice CALM music. Take deep breaths and exhale slowly. Then climb into bed and go to sleep. Sleep always helps. Things will be better in the morning and with good sleep you can use better time management skills to sort what needs done first and what can wait.
A cup of warm milk.. Sounds silly, but the chemicals in the milk have proven to promote calm and relaxation.

listen to your favorite music (projectplaylist.com) or watch a tv show that will make you laugh (www.tv-links.co.uk) or maybe something on youtube like a comedian - louis c.k., he's funny or ellen degeneres
go to an area of your home away from the trips stuff. have a nice snack and put on your most comft pjs put your favorite mellow music on. take deep breaths with your eyes closed. call and talk to a friend or family member. the sitting down while you gab will hopefully help you calm alittle hope it helps we have all been there.
