Short-Tempered?

Question:
Would you call a person who yells, screams at the top of their lungs, and curse like there was no tomorrow for a good 3 hours.. A short-tempered person when 10 mintues ago he was fine?

I've tried talking to him, but he doesnt beleive its a temper or anger problem, what can i do?

Answers:
The best thing you can do for yourself is to just ignore him until he runs out of energy and becomes calm; then (at the risk of him blowing his top again) simply and calmly tell him he needs to get in an anger management class or therapy before he hurts himself or someone else.

Good luck with this guy, good health, peace and love!
It's a (lack of) strength problem. The weakest thing you can do is to lose control. I've seen 3 year olds throw nuclear-powered tantrums and regain composure in much less time. A person like that I would call bad news. Get away before he does you harm.
From what you described, pretty much yes. A person with a short-temper is like a walking time-bomb unexpectedly. Yelling and screaming and cursing like there's no tomorrow for three hours straight is insane not to mention dangerous. He can hurt someone near him unintentionally. If he's in room by himself lock him in there until he calms down. Sometimes it's easy to talk to a person with a short-temper, but sometimes is not depending on their level of temperment. It's better to leave him alone until he calms down than risk injury. With that type of anger, he has power to possibly attack you senseless. Yes, it's a temper fueled by anger and they are commonly unexpectedly flare-ups. After a good three hours, he might exhausted and possibly asleep.

I'm known for a "short-fuse" and drop the F-bomb like there's no tomorrow, but I calm down after a while. After that it's like nothing ever happened.
