Yes, just keep on dreaming! The only times I have heard of it being prescribed is to treat glaucoma, and also to improve the appetite of dying cancer patients. The standard medical treatments for depression include Lexapro, Prozac, etc. and counseling. Don't know about OCD, I but imagine a patient could get REAL obsessive/compulsive about smoking a joint every hour or so!
As far as I'm aware they do not prescribe marijuana for either condition. They do still perform psychosurgeries for OCD, but only in a couple of places.
Both OCD and depression are usually treated with medication. Zoloft helped me with both my OCD and depression.

They do not prescribe medical marijuana for anything. They have tried or are trying or whatever in CA to prescribe medical marijuana because I think it is legal for medical purposes there; however, it is still illegal according to the federal government, and the most stringent of laws take precedent.
