Answers:
Remeron (Mitazapine) is an anti-depressant that has been around for awhile. I have quite a few patients that take it and it seems to work relatively well for the most part. It is one of those drugs that can increase suicidal thoughts in certain people, so you have to watch out for that. Also usually makes most people drowsy, so they usually have you take it in the evening, close to bedtime. Some of the more common side effects are dry mouth, weight gain, and somnolence.
I'm on it, it's makes you tired at first. But you get used to it, and it doesn't do that anymore. I had no side effects on it.
If i had to choose a head drug to be on, it would be remeron(mirtazapine)
most hassle free med I've taken.
See the antidepressant websites, at http://www.ezy-build.net.nz/~shaneris... Read pages 1, and 2, and see www.drugs.com Take fish oil supplements to combat cholesterol (www.mercola.com).
it will give you a great sleep and can be certain that you will gain weight. however it has no sexual side effects which is good
It worked great at first...but on the third month I noticed buzzing in my ears when I'm trying to get to sleep. I think it's called Tinnitus and I have a feeling Remeron caused it. I'm not sure whether I should continue with this medication or just quit. Afterall, I don't want to loose my hearing permanently.
