How can i get motivated?

How about this:

Take 5 minutes to physically write out a list (a bit more expanded) which includes the items you delinianted above (i.e., do my work, work out, clean).

For each of those 3 items, I would like you to list 3 very specific activities which can be completed in 5 minutes or less, which would put you closer toward achieving the final goal than you are now (e.g., do 25 sit ups, locate the cleaning materials, return 1 phone call).

Now, you should have no less than nine, 5-minute activities on your list.

Choose one.

Complete it.

I needed a swift kick in my *** for get motivated for college. AFTER I lost my scholarships, I got motivated real quick!
Have you had a check-up lately?
You may have some underlying physical condition causing problems.

Are you possibly depressed? http://alcoholism.about.com/library/blde... If so, you should see a psychologist/psychiatrist. Therapy combined with medication may get you back on track.

Are you addicted to something?
Addicted to computer, drugs, anything can mess up your motivation to do what you know you should be doing.

Are you eating well?
Too much bad food can make you sluggish.


Besides all this, try to do ONE thing each day that will make you feel like you've accomplished something. Make that your only requirement. Of course, if you feel you can do it, after you've done that one thing, pick another thing to get done.
This is caused by depression no? I'm the same, and this is a common symptom of depression. I think you just have to force yourself to do a little everyday and reward yourself for what you can achieve, and not mentally punish yourself for what you can't. :)
Self discipline. If you don't want to do something but make yourself get up and do it you will feel good about yourself.
