What fear is this?

Question:
Ever since i can remember I've always been afraid that someone would sneak up behind and kill me or something, mostly at night because you can't see well but i'm always looking over my shoulder and i'm a 13 yr old whos afraid of the dark because of this reason (i can barely reach my bed after turning off the light in my room to sleep) for the fear of a homicidal maniac in my house...but everything is perfectly fine with i'm wtih someone. is there a name for this fear?

Answers:
its Scelerophibia or fear of bad men/ burglars
Oh my god I used to have that fear to but just think that no one could possibly get into your house unless the door wasn't locked just make sure your doors are locked and the chances of someone doing that to you are 1 in 100000000000000000000000000000...
when i was 13 i always thought the devil was under my bed and was going to drag me under the bed your normal , when your young things spook you so dont sweat it
I'm 18 and I still have this fear. Here's some of the stuff that I do at night...

~ I find that if I sleep with someone or something behind me, I feel a tad better. Get a body pillow and if you go to sleep on your side, have it right behind you.

~ I also don't sleep on stomach when I first go to bed.

~ Listening to music helps...it blocks out those noises that you hear that creep you out and make you think that someone is climbing up the stairs to get you.

~ I also read right before I go to bed. That usually makes me drowsy enough that I dose right off.
You are not alone. I feel EXACTLY the same ALL the time. Fear of the dark is Nyctophobia and fear of death is thanatobhobia. I can't find anything about being watched or followed though. Don't worry. I always find a way to live through it. Like telling myself that my dad would have gotten any one in the house, or that there is noone there, it's just my imagination.
I had such fears when I was young but after I took up smoking they all disappeared.
