Sleep Disorder?

Koreans have a name for this: "Gah-wi". It means "scissor" =T Yea, I have no idea what that means either BUT anyway...
My mother used to get this a lot. Though some bestow mystical beliefs on this, I have heard (unofficially) that there is a neurological reason for this. Most people tend to experience this when they are feeling stressed.
When we sleep, our motor neurons are suppressed so that we don't act out our thoughts during sleep (though this can sometimes malfunction and result in sleepwalking). This paralysis is useful because it keeps us safe while we sleep. Sometimes, your motor neurons are suppressed because your brain is tricked into thinking that it is nap time when you are in fact conscious. I can believe that such an experience would be frightening. My suggestion is to ignore it and try to sleep. You will wake up naturally with all limbs obeying your command... unless you slept on your arm weird and cut the circulation off. Happens to me a lot, lol.
You are in control. You are not going crazy.
i would suggest you try this program,
