I had a nightmare...what does it mean?

Question:

As a child, I was always afraid of Chucky (you know the killer doll) I would get scared he was in the hallway or in the dark closet. When I was younger I always had to be with someone. Now, I don't have to be, but I'm uncomfortable being alone too long because my mind easily plays tricks on me, not that I have a mental disorder, I'm just a chicken. In the dream, I was with a friend and Chucky didn't try to kill my friend but he tried to kill me, and it took place at my house. Once I found out he was there (I believe from the friend) I hid in the front garden of my house..after a few minutes, I got up and looked at the porch door and Chucky was waiting for me, smiling. (I think he had a knife too, I'm not sure) All I remember is that I went in the house and he hid and me and a few other people (I didn't know them) sat down on wooden chairs, then chucky casually came and sat down...we were all being nice to him, This part of my house wasn't like my actual house like the other scene.

i wouldn't take it for more than it is: a nightmare. If you have had trouble with this type of dream with Chucky in it, then try these. Drawing Chucky or getting a picture of him and cutting up the paper, sticking needles in it or burning it in the fireplace. It may seem dumb, but it always worked for me as a kid. If you have another dream about it, try changing your shedule before bed, it may be something you eat before bed that makes you have these awful dreams. good luck.

here is something do not watch chucky if the doll is going to give you a nite mares. if you still have nite mare go to the doctors and have them check you out to make sure you are ok

There is something else troubling you. That is why you are having these nightmares. Try to get rid of any problems that you are facing now. If your nightmares still occur, seek professional help.

Someone else is probably trying to seperate from you, or part of you, and you are afraid of the loss.

chucky is something that you think you have under control.

Night terrors are seldom fun, I know. And as silly as it sounds try a dreamcatcher, It helps to give you alittle piece of mind.

maybe its telling you to face your fears..something probably has happened to you, and this dream is telling you to confront it. i like that part of the dream where you were sitting with the knife behind your back switching hands so that chucky would think you didn't have anything. very descriptive.
