Am i normal?

Question:
i worry all the time. i worry about every little thing. i'm afraid of dying, getting cancer, and getting sick. oh and throwing up.

Answers:
you might be a little paranoid.. you might need to see a counselor... but who knows.. whats normal anyway?
nahh. i have friends who are like that. just be optimistic more.
no, you have an anxiety disorder with hychondriacal tendencies. Suggest you get professional help.
You have anxiety. There are meds for this. You should not take them except as a last resort. You should try to stop this or it will wear on you and get worse and it can start to affect your physical health not to mention it can lead to other emotional/behavior problems like OCD. The best way to stop it is to be open and honest about these anxieties. I know it sounds like the hardest thing to do but it will make you realize that how unrealistic most of your worries are if you tell other people about them. You should talk to a few people close to you and tell them that you will be telling them these things so they can support you in a positive way. You also need to see a counselor for this before it gets worse. Try not to see a psychiatrist as they will want to give you meds right away. See a psychologist or other counselor who will not give you meds. If you get bad enough, they will send you to a psychiatrist who will give you meds.
its normal, but you need to stop thinkin about that, try to bekome a stronger person
Yes, if you're a conservative. You must be watching Fox News.
You're no different than the rest of us. You have your own unique flavor but, for the most part, you're fine.
ur normal but u just worry a lot. just slow down and just realx when something arises and u will be ok
Nothing in this life is normal, honey.
everyone has fears and theres nothing wrong with that. you just have to try to not let them over power you and worry you all the time. just live your life. whatever happens happens.
Well there are many people like that. However what is normal? Is it what society says is normal? Being normal is only in the eyes of the person says so.
Normal is very hard to define. If you are comparing yourself to the rest of society, yeah...that is somewhat normal. I guess it depends on the extream. If it's so bad that you have panic attacks you may want to look into being put on lexapro or something but if it's fears and worries that don't stop you from living a normal life then you're okay.
That is not "normal", but 90% of the people I know are not normal. Just try to keep busy. I find that if I do something nice for someone else, it keeps my mind off of my problems.
maybe depressed, go 2 ur docs and tell them how u feel, they can help
The headshrinkers call it paranoia, and when it gets bad they put you away. Because, after all, people who think everything in the world wants to kill them can be dangerous.
if these concerns interfere with you living a normal life, then you probably need to see a mental health professional. You might have a obsessive compulsive disorder.

If these concerns do not interfere with you living a normal life, then you are just a bit idiosyncratic.

By normal, I mean being able to meet your personal obligations and maintain good physical health and hygiene.
sounds normal but maybe a little paranoid,
hell yah
no thats not normal. but recognizing is a big step. Congratz.. now get some help.
who's to say what is / isn't normal. Define normal. You just have phobias like the majority of the population have - for instance, I am scared of spiders, any kind of bugs, scared of people thinking I'm a failure, scared of being abducted by aliens etc....

don't worry about any of these things..you can't really stop dying, prevent cancer (to a 100% degree), and you will always be sick at some point or another and the same for throwing up. If you worry, you'll make yourself sick with worry (does that make sense?) - it's not worth it!
no, thats not normal. stop worring nd enjoy life. If you can't stop worring..go to a doctor, you might have parinaoid personality disorder or somthing like that
Define normal! You may want to talk to a professional if you are feeling like this constantly. Maybe look up the song "Don't Worry, Be Happy," by Bobby McFairen(SP?) Best wishes!
ok this may seem weird but do this for me. there is this thing that i want people like you to know about. go to www.thesecret.tv

this is a web sight that tells people about manifesting. (if you dont know what that is it will tell you. when you think about stuff like that you are manifesting it so in the future you might get what your worrying about.

most people aren't interested in stuff like this but i hope you will take some time to understand what you are doing to yourself. the DVD call the secret is better than the wed sight.

good luck....... i tryed to help.

and yes its normal. lol.
OK
there is no such thing as a normal person . there only can be a person acting normally.
the things you've mentioned are typical signs of poor mental health problem which come with depression, anxiety, negative thoughts, panic attacks. there not serious mental health problems but can still control your life. tell you GP and get referred to a mental health team. call mind they are good. surf websites for advice. the things you've said are normal worries of everyday people. your you and it is that you need to stay true. a person believing that they should feel or be someone else is what is not normal.
