I am having anxiety really bad to where I feel like I cant breath the humidity is terrible today so that makes

it worse please tell me waysI can relax im freaking out?!I just took a xanax its not working soon enough please help??

Oh god! You're just like me. I listened to music whenever I'm not in school. I sang the songs and that made me forget things. I get so stress at times AND IT'S GROWING!!!


WORRIED!!!!!!!!!
I get up and take a slow walk...try to breath deep...relax and walk.
Sit down somewhere (go to the ladies room if you're at work) close your eyes, breathe in slowly through your nose until you feel your lungs fill up to their capacity. Hold your breath for 10 seconds and slowly breathe out for 10 seconds through your mouth. Do this 10 times. It slows your heart rate, lowers blood pressure, etc. and basically calms you.

This was suggested by my dr. It does help.
STOP! Take a deep breath, hold it for a count of 15, let it out slowly. Pause for 5 seconds and deep breath and hold again. Repeat this cycle 5 times, then close your eyes, think of your breath as the waves at the beach. Visualize the waves, breath in as the waves come in, hold then breath out as the wave goes back out. Feel the warm sun and sand, relax.

Anxiety causes hyperventilation, rapid breathing which causes the loss of carbon dioxide which prompts you to breath. this is a repeating cycle that affects your nervous system causing shaking and muscle cramps.
At the first sign of anxiety, STOP, slow your breathing, think of the ocean.

I don't think that is anxiety it sounds more like asthma, you can look it up on the google and see if you have it
