Just because legal drugs are readily available to many, doesn't mean that they are safe. Kids nowadays are selling/taking pills that they obtain from friends who were prescribed by their doctors or right out of the medicine chest at home or at their friends' homes.
A drug is any chemical or biological substance, synthetic or non-synthetic, that when taken into the organism's body, will in some way alter the functions of that organism

That's why.they alter the brain's chemistry.
A drug is simply a mind altering substance, that changes the chemical make-up of the brain...

Zoloft, valium, xanax, cocain, marijuana, alcohol, nicotine, ect.. Are all substances that effect the chemical make-up of the brain..

It is important to note that the way in which these drugs effect the brain vary... Yet they are all considered drugs.
