Hypnosis.does it really work for weight loss?

Question:
Can one hyptonize oneselff?

Answers:
well..the thing with hypnosis works..is that it really doesn't do anything unless you think it will work..same principal as the plecebo effect..because you think the hypnosis will help you lose weight, you are going to make yourself act different.
It doesn't work.
There is a book that is supposed to help with food cravings, its a self hypnosis book called "Tapping the healer within" by Roger Callahan

I haven't read it but this was what my mom was recommended to read for getting over her obsession with sweet foods. I think hypnosis can work if you are doing it right. Maybe you should see a professional in your area
