Does anyone feel like this with mental illness?
Question:
Answers:
Unhappiness without a cause is a symptom of mental illness, most commonly depression. It is also one of the untreatable symptoms of Schizophrenia. Being Schizophrenic, I have lived with the feeling of unhappiness my entire life. Seen in depression it is curable but as a feature of Schizophrenia it is not. Oddly enough, over time a person with Schizophrenia tends to become accustomed to the feeling, or more likely they forget and no longer remember the occasions of when they were able to actually feel happiness because of the passage of time.
You have to look at why your unhappy. Is your family life good? What about your love life? Are you successful at work? Do you consider yourself spiritually deprived? You have to look at the illness and try to cure it, instead of treating the symptoms.
If all else fails, smoke some weed.
I totally agree with everything you said!
