Everything seems to slow down, or it feels like I'm going a mile a minute. Then my hands start to tingle, and I get dizzy. I have to shut my eyes to make the world go away, then I have to squeeze a bristle brush or like the bottom of a broom, to get the tingles out of my hands. I've been having them my whole life and have no idea what triggers them.
when i have like. um. sex. it makes me panic, and it makes me want to leave from having sex. You feel that having sex is wrong, and you try and get away from it when you start it.
Heart pounding, Dizziness, sometimes tingling in hands and arms, difficulty breathing.
Anxiety and the need for panic, duh!
PANIC. OUT OF CONTROL I WOULD IMAGINE. BEST BET IS TO GO SEE A DOCTOR. TO BE SURE.
♥ Nervous. I can't yalk in front of people. At night, I hear voices sometimes. I always feel like someones out to get me. Not sure why though. I do go to a pshycologist once a week though, but I never told him about that, so I can't really give you much advice on how to deal. Just talk to a therapist or somebody to help you cope with your anxiety.
like your about to die and you cant breath or you get all jittery. It seems so real but its actually irrational..but unless you have experienced it no one understands how awfull it feels. its a pain they cant see. I wish you luck. Breathing really does help.!
shock like ways in my body. Your heart can race, nervous tension, a scared feeling inside all the time. Hard to cope everyday. Been on meds for around 5 yrs.
Not me, but my husband, his brother, and my stepdaughter have all had the same. They thought my husband was having a heart attack. Extremely high blood pressure, feeling flushed, elevated sugars. Hopefully they have done complete blood work on you. It's o.k. to be on medication for anxiety. My daughter is on something for that, although she doesn't have the panic attacks. Please see a therapist if you need to talk with someone.
A panic attack feels like you are about to die. You have difficulty breathing and have this general feeling of intense doom over you.

The anxiety can lead to a panic attack. WIth anxiety, you worry constantly about things that are a real threat and things that are not. You have difficulty concentrating and you may also experience difficulty breathing.
I do not have this disorder but, I have had it before when I could not find a doctor to diagnose my Graves disease.

Oh my, the symptoms are not good! That "fight or flight" feeling rises up and then, the panic hits. My heart would speed up and so did my pulse rate. I feared being in crowds from this. They hit out of the blue! Sometimes, it can even impair the breathing! It is simply not a good thing to have to deal with!

I was put on medication for awhile but, as soon as I was diagnosed with Graves and had the radiation, the attacks stopped for me!

So, I wish you luck with these as I am so sorry anyone has to feel that feeling! It is relentlessly frightening at times!
I am also a victim of anxiety and panic attacks.

Anxiety is kind of an eating, bugging feeling in the pit of your stomach. You could just be worried about something or it could be nothing at all. But being worried may seem to have a more pronounced effect on you.

Anxiety can also be related to general stress in your everyday life. It could be anything from trying to talk to someone you "like" or it could just be the rigors of school or a job. Everything will start to tear at you and the stress will be far more pronounced.

Panic attacks happen when all this stress and anxiety finally catches up with you. You quite literally start to quietly panic. You'll freak out about almost anything and just feel like *Oh god, I just wanna get home and go to bed... let the day end >.<*

It's never fun >.>
Yeah you feel as if you're about to have a heart attack. Your throat and chest tighten and your heart starts beating like a drum. And you can't breath. you sweat and your hands tremble. It's an awful feeling.
heart pounding
feeling like i am going to die in my mind (it goes over and over in my head, then i start thinking about the hopsitals as i hate hospitals, how the doctors are there, and me dying,)
feeling sick and getting worse as i have a sort of phobia of throwing up too.
sweating really bad
find it hard to breathe

also once i felt like something was stuck in my throat .
My symptoms have been a tightness in my chest, sweating, breathing hard, nausea, sense of doom. I'm on Lexapro right now, and about to increase my dose to help a little more.
Hi, sorry to hear you are feeling bad. Symptoms can be nausea, heart palps, shaking, vomitting, fainting, restlessness - all sorts really. The following steps will eliminate (or at least significantly reduce) your panic attacks:

1.Breathe properly - if you control your breathing, you control panic. As soon as you notice the signs of anxiety, check your breathing: breathe in slowly through your nose pushing your tummy out (to the count of 5 or so). Breathe out slowly and for a bit longer (to the count of 7 or so) through your mouth. Do not breathe rapidly or shallowly (in the chest area). This will soon restore the balance of oxygen and you will feel a lot better.

2. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy! CBT is proven to be the most effective thing for panic attacks, OCD and anxiety etc. It takes a bit of work, but it is super effective. (After 15 years of panic attacks, mine stopped completely). You can speak to your doctor about taking a course or you can take a course for free online at: www.livinglifetothefull.com

3. Try relaxation exercise tapes (progressive muscular relaxation). They really make a difference if you practise often enough (i.e. twice a day). They will also help you sleep better if done at bedtime. You can get free downloads online. E.g.: http://www.studentservices.utas.edu.au/c...

With each step practise makes perfect. (i.e. practise the steps every day, not just when you are feeling bad). I hope you feel better soon. Best of luck!
