Can we force a mentally unsound person to seek treatment in Singapore?

Question:
lf the person is denial about his/her conditions and is not aware of the seriousness of his/her conditions, can the next of kin forcefully bring him/her to a psychiatrist?

Answers:
You do not have to do it forcefully. Make it like a venture. A person who is not so mentally sound would like to do what he feels is interesting. Try to make it sound interesting.
in singapore yes!
i think only if they are a threat to themselves or society. otherwise, its not likely anyone will do anything about it.
