How can I stop abusing inhalants?

What can I do to break this habit, OTHER THAN seeking counseling?

Wow! Damn ummm.I've done this kind of thing before. I've been hooked on a lot and there are worse things you can do, however, the way to stop...is simply to stop. Remove any inhailents from your house, remove sympom and work on the problem. Why are you doing these drugs? What is causing you to want to do them? I mean a counselor really just asks you the questions you should be asking yourself and helps you with the process.
If you want to stop then stop. Make the effort. It's easy to give into temptation but you feel better about yourself when you don't. When that happens you also begin to feel better about whatever it is that is causing you to do this stuff, and when that happens you find that you don't have a need for them.
Stay away from Home Depot!
Get the stuff out of the house, totally. Then you will have to fight the urge. I would also suggest you stay away from the people that you may be doing it with. The best way though is to seek counseling, sorry. Good luck.
when your about to sniff, think your about sniffing in a fart from a hairy fat mans butt so you wont do it. Almost everyone who does drugs is either bored, filling an absence in their life, or trying to escape somehting in their lives. question yourself why your doing them?
If you must use drugs at all, do some that aren't that harmful/addicting.
The general rule of thumb as regards to drug use (aside from the legions of those who will tell you to eschew them all in general), is to avoid stimulants, opioids, inhalants, and barbiturates.
Also, be sure to research before you take part in ANY drug use. I recommend Erowid and the Lycaeum (Google, or since we are on Yahoo, Yahoo it).
Just stop.
Find support. Do you have understanding friends? Someone you can call when you have the urge? Find an NA group in your town and attend. NA stands for Narcotics Anonymous, but they deal with all kinds of drugs.
It sounds like you have a pretty serious problem. I'd also suggest re-thinking the counseling. There are strict Federal laws protecting your privacy, even if you are a minor 14 or older. You could look in the phone book for drug and alcohol counseling, and see if there is an agency that could at least give you an assessment - maybe they could help you find some direction at least.
If you are getting high to cope with some other problems, look for some help for those problems. You can wait until you're ready to admit to the huffing, but at least you will be doing something. Above all, don't be passive - do SOMETHING to take care of yourself!
its a ahrd habit to break, i used to use alot of drugs, pot, crank, meth, crack, cold medicines and huff alot of butane, rubber cement and gasoline. i stopped hang out with the people i used to use them with, i drink on occasion still and smoke like a freight train but its better than rubber cement and triple c's. i ended up moving away from nearly everyone too. i still smoked pot and did triple c's when i was trying to stop, im not advocating drug use but a gradual with drawl helped me , start hang out with people who still like to get out and drink a bit , not a bunch of straight edges but not druggies. if you try to hang pout with goody goods off top that wont last a week. not to seem like a prick but i wish you could met this guy my wifes dad is related to, randel, he used to huff alot of paint and sober he repeates the saemt higs every five minutes and is a complete retard, seriously, he is stupid, ask him 2x2x2 and he is clueless, we asked him 2+2 and he gave three answers. seriously though, quit, i look 10 times healthier a month later, and felt better
