I'm scared about something!?

its probably just a fad, a fashionable thing to talk about for a while, they will soon get bored with it and move on to something else. If you tell them, some of them will be understanding for sure, but others may use it against you. You know what kids can be like! Perhaps then it is best just to let it blow over, as it soon will.
Go with your conscience. If you feel obligated to testify and tell your story then do so... it's often said, in cases like this, that if you tell your story to hundreds and help just one it is worth it.
Things like that are popular in schools these days, Im not saying that in my 11 years of living on this earth, i havent been close to anorexia, because I have...but it DOES interest me, i will NEVER go back, but it interests me, in how people can be so stupid, to think "oh it can't happen to me, i dont have to finish my lunch" and then 30 years from now, u look in the newspaper "died from anorexia, sufferer of 30 years" but no one knew..Because that person didnt think it could happen to them, and it did. Tell them to stop, tune it out, tell your secret, wat ever YOU think is right...
Go with your parents to the school and have a chat with the Principal. Tell them your concerns. If this is a real issue (and it sounds like it is) they will address it. They will get the necessary people into the school who can talk to your friends and the school as a whole. You can do this without revealing who you are and they can take the ball and run with it. It is definitely one that you can't tackle on your own and they do have the resources to help. Guidance counsellors are supposed to be there for students to talk to about these issues and they have been trained to handle this kind of thing.
It sounds to me like you are very concerned for your friends' health and you know enough about this topic to educate them to some degree, but they may not take you as seriously as they would if they had a special speaker come in and talk to them. I hope this helps.
Hi,
I know what you mean ,if their griends ask them to stop it makes you uncomfortable if they ask why tell them if you trust them if not dont give a reason ,if the people talking about it are class mates you dont know very well it is just a fad thing to talk about it will die down soon its not a pleasant thing to disscus and people that have this disorder deal with this on a every day basis they struggle to cope and understand why this happened to them keep going and be strong it will make you a stronger wiser person good luck to you sweetie
only mention it in passing as you have got over it which is the main thing
I think it would be a good idea to have a word with a teacher, who hopefully, would then speak to the headteacher. Ask if you can do a talk on the subject to the whole school, telling them what you went through. You are a brave young person to admit to such a disease and to have pulled through. Your experience may be a help to others.
Let your teachers know. You don't have to give them names. See what they think about it, and what can be done. It is their responsibility to address concerns in school. You can help them with this by researching for them and providing hands on experience with this disorder. Good luck.
they are likely misinformed or curious...if you share your story (if you feel so inclined), it may help them, then they'll know what it's really like from someone who's been there.
If you feel comfortable with telling them then I would use your experiences to help them. You know what its like and the unhealthy results.
Dear Samantha,
I agree with Sticksnstonez, you shouldn't try to tackle this on your own. The risk to you is too great if some kids choose to use it against you. Get your parents onside and get them to talk to the principal.
Congratulations on beating the anorexia!! All the best! xx

Well, tell them. Ask if you can do something that the whole school can be apart of so you can get your word out about it. Hope I was some help.
