Would a company hire a applicant with PTSD,Bipolar, personality disorder and several other health problems.?
Question:
Answers:
No a company won't hire such an applicant unless that person wants to work as a greeter at Walmart where it's okay to be mentally and physically ill.
You need to get an attorney and file for SSI or SSDI. You will need several medical records proving your disabilities. SS will send for them after you sign a medical release form. With an attorney, it usually takes 2 years to get to court but you get paid back pay from the day you filed.
The prognosis for future earnings is poor at best. Good Luck!
It all depends on the job you are applying for. My cousin John had applied years ago for a truck job but was denied just because he has High Blood Pressure. Other than that he would've gotten the job first rate.
Yes there are laws that protect people with those disorders.
how would they know? unless you tell them.
If you're going in for an interview, its really all about how you present yourself. If you can show that you're capable of the job, and that these problems won't hold you back from doing it, I'd say it shouldn't be much of a problem.
If the company has a health plan for its employees, than you're pretty much screwed, I doubt they'd hire you.
I think that depends on the company. #1 they are not allow to ask in an interview. #2 the applicant is covered in the American Disability Act if the company has 15 or more employees. They are not allow to discriminate for such illness. Some companies require physicals and you would have to pass a physical and give personal information. If they do not require a physical there is no reason why one should not be hired. There are also companies that hire the disabled. Sometimes they ask the questions is there any reason you cannot perform you duties. If your conditions are stable then you should be able to perform the duties assigned. Make sure you are applying for something feasible for your condition.
