Depression?


I was checking the sypmtoms of depression and I have most of them (more then half) Is this just a temporary imbalance or could I possibly be depressed? (Nothing quite depressing has happened that could give me a chemical imbalance or at least I dont think). I have also thought about cutting and ect.

Can bulimia mete out you to: cut yourself and develop over compulsive disorder?

The answer is in two parts:
1) you should NOT be asking this here, you need medical advice as you have dark thoughts.
2) Depression can kick in for a number of reasons, it could be that something from your past has been retriggered in your mind by recent events, sounds, smells etc. It could be depression clinically or it could be a symptom of traumatic stress disorders.

You need help now and YouQA cannot give it to you. Go get a referal to a shrink

It could be temporary but I would go with you are depressed or unhappy about something especially since youve thought about cutting etc. My advice to you is to seek medical asap before you follow through on cutting etc. I was a cutter and now my arms are disgusting and very embarassing when people stare at them. Dont let it get to that point go talk to someone.............

OK my friend happens to more people in the world the you can possibly imagine. i have bi-polar and most of the time i am OK. but the the littlest things send me spiraling down a path of destruction. i mean it could be something as simple as a stain not coming out of a shirt. and your chemicals in your brain change so often that an imbalance is possible at anytime. i suggest you seek treatment for your problem. wanting to cut yourself is not a good thing. and depression is nothing to be ashamed of. so consult your doc. You should go see a professional ASAP. You shouldn't have to have someone else tell you that. Sorry if I sound harsh.
