I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place and I don't know what to do?

I moved 2 Auzzy 1 year ago and the only reason I did is to live in the gold coast because it reminds me of Miami FL, now I'm in this dodgy town Redcliffe, I'm fighting with my mum, she wants to send me to boarding school, and I always feel detatched from everything around me, It's like I don't have feelings any more. then I'll get these bursts of sadness everytime I see CSI Miami or a palm tree, and I was wondering If it has anything to do with me being gifted or my emotional IQ (last time I was tested it was 130-140 or something like that). I've thought of stealing mums credit card and buying a one way ticket to Miami, but that would screw up the rest of my life. What do I do?

you should definitely try your hardest to get moved back to miami, youve obviously got a case of the blues going, i dont see how you didnt figure that out lol, try to get a job so you can possibly buy a ticket back

You sound like you're in a depression because you miss your old life and friends. You should try to ask you mom if she can get you some help to deal with the move. There maybe a way that you can get to spend some time in Miami so that you don't feel so disconnected from your old life. At the same time you should make sure that you're really trying to make it work and that you're trying to make friends and to fit in at school. I hope that things work out for you.

you're right. that WOULD screw up your life. it seem's you're a teenager. my suggestion to you would be to bide your time till you're 18 or something, save up enough so that you're independent by that time, and then leave when you can. in the meanwhile, enjoy whatever australia has to offer.

I think you are just feeling home sick. Probably missing your friends too. Dont go stealing or getting your self into trouble as your Mum may just send you to boarding school. Open your eyes to a new adventure. Bring yourself to be friendly and meet new friends. Redcliffe is a beautiful place and the Gold Coast isnt as good as you think. Aussie teenagers are generally carefree and happiest during summer. Give Queensland and Aussie teenagers a go.
This move would be hard on your Mother too, give yourself time to adjust to your new surroundings (just give it a go!) you may find that you fall in love with the area if not when you are older you can go back to Miami. If you have an extremely high IQ you will see this is logical thinking and stealing / and retaliating towards your mother will only make matters worse.
