As a psychologist was telling me,
We all get only so much energy each day to use.
A person with low stress, a healthy body, mind and emotions and few problems to deal with should be able to sail right through a day with plenty of mental and physical energy.

When your mind or body is stressed, (good or bad), that will use up some of your total daily energy. Think of when your body has a cough or a cold and you feel exhausted through the day. That is a stress on you body using up energy.
The same can be true when we face drains on our mental
(like taking an exam) or our emotional (like an argument with a family member) energies. All those things are sources of stress.

I have seen a "stress chart" listing major and minor events people face. You mark and count-up all those you have experienced over the past year. (like a death, major illness, car accident, loss of a job or new job, moving, marriage, birth of a baby, etc.

When a person puts their own events over the past year that are stressors, and takes a look there comes an "Ah-Ha Moment" where you look at it and say No Wonder I Feel Tired.

Anything from tiredness to not being able to heal after an illness, to headaches or intestinal problems or an inability to concentrate...can all come from stress. And so can depression.

What to do about it?
Find a mental health counselor to talk this over with. That's what their job is, to help people identify what isn't working for them and to coach you in seeking workable solutions.
