I have a question on S.A.D. seasonal affective disorder...?

Answers:
I doubt that it is SAD, it sounds like you suffer from re-occurring bouts of depression that tend to occur in the summer. Seasonal Affective Disorder occurs in the fall and winter months as a result of less light, therefore, what you are experiencing sounds like depression that reoccurs in the summer.
S.A.D is seasonal affective disorder. Not W.A.D or Summer affective disorder. It is any season.
Also it could be you are sad or depressed about something during summer (E.G. going back to school.)
It is still the same disease nonetheless.
SAD is real and can be pretty severe. If one is very sensitive to sunlight changes, it *can* occur in the summer. The longest day is ~June 20; after that, the days get shorter and SAD kicks in. My SAD usually has an onset of late August or early September. It starts to fade after the winter solstice.
Photo-therapy using special lights that give full spectrum light can be very effective, kick in faster than drugs, and have no side-effects. Google "SAD lights" for more info. You don't need a doc to get one, but they are relatively expensive. I used one for ~ 1 year with good effect, until I gave in, saw a p-doc, and went on anti-depressants. That's another story...
