Please help me..afraid of the dark?

Why don't you get a little lamp, or open ur door and leave the hallway light on, sometimes I fall asleep with the tv on in my room. Or have like a sister sleep in ur room..
bring along a torch light with you.. just ignore what you imagine.. there's nothing gonna happen..

learn karate.. so when u get in the dark u will b able to say: bring it in "something" im gonna kick ur asss!! then, that "something" will b afraid to b with u in the dark
um... u have a serious problem well.
um... if u are really determined to try going a couple nights without lights and but if your not ready to do that yet sleep with someone for a while
buy a lavalamp or other light and use that as a nightlight.ive had a lavalamp since i was a little kid and now im 14 and i still use it cuz its a cool lavalamp
i knlw xactly how you feel im meen im 16 and im feel xactly what you do. this comes in all ages so dont feeel that your to old to have this fear.. well i try to over come it by sleeping with my light on but i get yelled at for that.so maybe get a reallly bright like like maybe one that you slick on a wall or maube a lamp i now you feel insecure in the dark im trying to ebat this as well i also sleep with the tv becuase it brightens up my hole room ...also ive found it comforting to have a cell fone/portable fone with me at night it makes you feel a bit safer in the dark..
I would get a night light they give enough light so that you can see that there really is nothing there but they are dim enough so that they don't' interrupt your sleep. I use one and I'm 52 so don't' think that it's something that only children feel it's not.
If it's while in bed, start with a small night light...those that u can control the brightness of the light. Each week, make it dimmer until such a time, u are accustom to the dark. If not, take along what comforts u most..be it photo of someone and visualise that the person is with u.
u need to bring the bible out, and look in psalms, trust me u shall not be afraid, the only thing to be afraid of is god in the dark. trust me!
