Question:
Answers:
Eat lots of carbs, like breads, pastas, rice and things like that. Or eat more calories than she burns a day, most people burn an average or 2400 calories a day, so maybe if you crank her calorie intake up to 3000 she'll gain some weight. Or use google! it has everything!
put a barricade up her "rear" and give her lots of food
I'm also underweight. The doctor told me to eat lots of protein and to work out so that I gain the weight as muscle, not as fat. Milk products are a good way to go.
Foooooooddddd
Take your sister to a doctor before trying to fatten her up!
I was technically 'underweight' until the age of 22 when I just reached the 'healthy weight' for someone my height according to a BMI. Every time I saw my doctor he'd ask me the usual questions and conclude that my weight, although below average, was healthy. I wasn't missing periods or starving myself. I just happen to be very tall with a small bone structure and a fast metabolism. Everyone in my family is like that.
It's important that certain issues are ruled out by the doctor and that the doctor agrees that weight gain is needed. At 13, she is not fully developed and may be normal for someone her age minus the epidemic of childhood obesity in America.
I know that the media is telling us that being thin is unhealthy or even wrong or unreal, but it's not true. A certain percent of the population is just naturally very slim even without underlying conditions or eating disorders. Don't pressure your sister to conform to the usual, obesity is epidemic in America, get a professional opinion. Also, if weight gain is needed, a doctor will be the best to advise you on how to help her gain weight in a healthy way. Pumping her full of sugar and saturated fat isn't the way to do it.
well theres this pill i took for sleep and it made me gain 75 pounds i didnt want...but umm...i dunno
