Will Sialic Acid (SA) in infant's milk enhance chances of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)?

Question:

Answers:
This question is best left to a pediatrician or psychiatrist... But I don't recall there being any study that has identified any true cause of ADHD. It's too difficult to test that hypothesis as there would be too many other variables.

The only way to determine true cause and effect would be in experimental design research in which variables (Sialic Acid, et al) can be controlled. Otherwise you could only determine correlation between exposure and ADHD. And correlation is no causation. Read: a relationship between two variables (Sailic Acid and ADHD) cannot be determined as hard and fast causation (Sailic Acid caused ADHD) to the level of certainty where there is no doubt.
