I just need someone to listen to me...please help...?
i truly feel lower than dirt.. you might think this is cliche and maybe it is...but i really have felt so depressed for the last week. i take paxil but im going to come off of it soon. i eat right and exercise..i was euphoric until a week ago...i feel like my life has no direction, even though im an honors student in college and work a full time job for a couple years..i have no motivation anymore, cant get out of bed even though i take medicine for ADHD (concerta)...it seems to work less...
the bad part is...i find myself craving more stimulants like red bull or monster energy drinks...to try to kickstart me to even do something.... sometimes they work, sometimes not... the worst part.. is that i now crave vicodin because they make me feel so happy...
please help me save myself...i feel like im going to crack..and no im not having pms right now. please. thank you.
What is the difference between OCD & Paranoia?
Answer:
You have a few issues which need working through, talk to a doctor and ask to be referred to a councellor. Do not consider coming off the Paxil without the advice of a doctor!
You know the Red bull is bad for you, in fact that may well be the cause of your depression, caffine in high does posions the nervous system. Stop drinking it, drink lots of water instead. The vicodin is also very bad news as you know, please get some help, you are not likely to do this alone. Good luck;
I'm suffering from Anxiety at the moment. Are my symptoms normal ?
Hey I feel that way too in the winter. You might need to get up and move to another place.
I took one of my dad's schizophrenia pills?
My suggestion:
use your mind.
love life.
think of the fact that some little children die and don't have a chance to live and do the things that you take for granted.
think of the fact that you are only able to think with your mind.
read "Illusions" by Richard Bach. It's quite a short book, but I GUARANTEE that you'll feel better after reading it.
What is the name of the phobia where you can not let the food on you plate touch.?
Get help now and don't give up and have faith that you will win. You have to beat this thing but only you can. I wish you luck and hope you win.
get enough sleep.
Let's see how excess weight you've become?
This time of year can be difficult.I too am going through something similar but instead I am overeating. Caffeine is a stimulant, but when it wears off, it can make you feel worse than when you started. Keep exercising, no more caffeine and find one thing that can keep you focused or happy for a bit until it passes.
My sister won't go to the bathroom by herself. Is there any problem?
You're stuck in a rut. Start an engrossing hobby or join a church youth group to get your mind off yourself.
if you truly want some help you wont find it here or at the bottom of a script bottle, you need to see a profesional.
Ever stare at your meds and wonder if you have the guts to take them all?
hows the weather there, it may have something to do with how you are feeling, if its grey outside then likely you feel grey inside as well. see you doctor and let him or her know how you are feeling.
Does anyone know of a good residental drug rehab center either in the U.S. or Canada?
You need to speak to the doctor who is giving you these meds. It sounds like they are really screwing you up.
How come no matter how much I study how hard I work, I always?
You sound bipolar. Seriously. You need to get back to your doctor. Do not stop any of your medications until you talk to him/her. Being euphoric then suddenly very depressed is bipolar disease. You need help before you are not only bipolar but a drug addict with the Vicodin.
Well,
Have you considered for a moment what kind of effect these different types of meds are having on you, physically and mentally?
Your thought patterns, your energy levels, your rational, your feelings, your outlook, your actions and reactions? Your ideas?
Get professional help and implement an exercise program and that will help ADJUST your energy and chemistry (mental and physical) into POSITIVE FORMS with POSITIVE OUTCOMES, instead of you being guided like to a moth to a flame towards the false energy source that will ultimately only bring you down.
No kiddin.
Email me if you want. I'll listen.
I'm not an expert, but I'm not a nut either. Please take care of yourself. I don't have a simple answer, except: contact your counselor or psychiatrist. And if you have someone else you can talk to in person, do it.
My heart goes out to you.
see your doctor or a pshyciritrist
How do you get motivated to do stuff that needs to be done?
Hello Sweetie =)
You need to see your doctor as soon as you can.
There's something going wrong with your neurochemistry. It isn't anything that's going on in your life..
I'm afraid if you go off of paxil, it might get much worse......
Talk to your doctor, and get things switched around. It may be that your concerta just isn't working anymore......yes, opiates like vicodin and percocet can make you feel better, but that's not really a good way to go. If you're going to take a pill to make you feel better, why not take one that actually helps you instead of harms you??
If your doctor isn't sympathetic, go see a different doctor.

Namaste, and Happy Holidays,

you need to get some help, start with a counselor at school. You will not get the help you need in YouQA, your problem sounds far too serious.
Seek proffessional help if you really want to get better. It can work, I myself spent a good portion of my college years in counseling for depression which resulted in some serious substance abuse, and with a little help I was able to get my act together and grow up. The same can happen with you.
Good Luck, and keep your head up!
Do you know of anyone who had to take meds. because they couldn't control their temper?
Oh Honey1 I'm so sorry you are feeling like this! Please know that taking drugs will only temporarily "fix" things. Maybe you have too much on your plate? Can you go to school part time instead of full? Do you have any kind of support group you can lean on? What about a local church? Please don't give up! There is hope i swear! I will pray for you! god bless and I hope things get better for you SOON!
Can seroquel be given for Headaches?
Please reach out to someone you can trust, a friend or some family. The worst part of being depressed in being alone in it with no one to help you gain perspective. Get rid of the Vicodin. The last thing you need to add to your situation is an addiction. Readdress your meds with your doc also. It may just be a matter of finding the right meds that work for you and don't counteract your ADHD meds.
Tell me 5 reasons why i should not care about what ppl think?
It sounds like you could possibly be suffering from bipolar disorder. Before you panic, it can be maintained with the right medicine and knowledge. I myself am bipolar and was diagnosed this last summer. I have the same symptoms you are describing. You said that you felt "euphoric last week" and now you feel that your life has no direction....this sounds to me like you are having manic episodes. Basically, a bipolar person has bouts of feeling wonderful and "bulletproof" to having the bottom fall out from under them and not be able to get out of bed. You jump from one stage to the other without a middle ground. I too was on the brink of becoming addicted to painkillers to feel "happy" but that does not help and it definitely can make things much worse. Make an appointment with your family doctor or therapist. That is a first step in determining possibly what could be causing your feelings and if it is possible that this disorder could be affecting you as well. GOOD LUCK and keep your chin up!
I suffer from depression too so I know how you are feeling. Go to your doctor ASAP and tell him or her how you are feeling. You may need different meds or a higher dosage of the ones you are taking now. Good Luck to you.
I dont feel like myself, does anyone know why?
get to a healthcare provider asap! you need to stay off the vicodin and caffience, the rest sounds like you were doing well but coming off the paxil is going to be a problem.
Remember ups and downs are normal, try to stick to your routine as much as possible, find someone you trust to talk to, get out of the house go do something you enjoy/
Remember all the success you had recently with work, and college, be proud of yourself! your special and unique! hugs honey best wishes... find the local crisis center number and keep it close.
Look you can't save yourself but i know some one who can. There's no reason to feel like this, pills can't make you feel happy well at least not truly happy but guess what Jesus can. Just ask Jesus into you life with this prayer and start going to church and seeking Jesus. and things will get better for you in some ways. Father God i come before your presence humbly amitting that i am a sinner, i believe that your son rose from the dead and resurrected on the 3rd day, i ask that you come into my life and into my heart and that you write my name in the book of life and may you cover me with your blood and cleanse me of all my sins in the name of Jesus. Amen. then just build a realtionship with God talk to him everyday get a bible read his word because the truth which is his word shall set you free. God Bless Jesus loves you.
I enjoy not have a illustrious within ages is it wrong to want to own one.?
You need to get off the pixel I am Bipolar (Manic Depressant) and I have been on meds sense I was 13 years old! Paxil dont work.
I have had the same problem. I have found that some meds make me feel worse then what I am! The loratab makes you get up and go that's why you like it and it is hard to piss u off when u are on that! That is normal I think you need to talk to someone about how you feel that helps too! Defiantly change you meds that will make a world of difference. Hope this helps
I cogitate i've stopped missing him but I want myself to miss him?
get mental help. start with a support group. you make good grades in college so you can find a support group. carefully go from there. it sounds like you really are getting into the deep end of the pool. get the help. not just some opinionatd shrink or so-called clinical psychologist. i suspect the majority are not very helfpful and even harmful. they like money and they dispense pills. may not work but find a support group. if nothing else, go to aa, at least you are around some people who are trying to keep it together. you are not required or obligated to say a word about your deal. better find a group that deals with depression and probably bipolar problems. you just may be a cadidate. lol
Who's really more selfish here?
do you go out very much?
i find that doing a bigger variety of things helps me feel better.
of course finding motivation to do things when you feel down is very hard.
talking to people really helps i think.
explaining your situation and just getting close to someone who will listen and support you in feeling better, whatever the problem might be.
i get very depressed sometimes about my life, school, and job.
depressed about how i treat people, what i spend my time doing, that i don't deal with certain situations well.
sometimes it's very rough.
and sometimes i feel it's out of my control because these feelings come in loops sometimes.
if you want to talk a bit about anything you can email me at i_is_steve at yahoo dot com.
hope you find a way to feel better......

What would be surrounded by your just right self-improvement website?
ONe of my family members went though the same thing. Just try to look forward to things like, family events and parties. Also cut down on those drinks that will make you stay up all night and sleep during the day. Try to start with watching t.v instead of sleeping, then you can try to do things around the house, and soon you can try to go out. Another thing is that you shouldn't try to stay on the computer to long. It is just as abd as t.v. Things like this can be repaired, if you want a theripist go get one, but don't do things you don't want to. Take walks to let out some steem, go see a friend, but din't spend money on things you don't need to. Talk to me anytime, about anything you need. It is good to get things out of you and just say it. Good for you to let it out!
Please go to your doctor right away, honey. Your medications may be working against you - sometimes the pills that are designed to make you happy can go overboard and make you sad instead. Your doctor might want to change the dosage or the prescription to help you.
It'll be okay, honey - your life DOES have direction... sometimes life just moves so slowly you can't notice the direction.
First, talk to your doctor, and take advantage of any helplines offered by your college.
Then, find something to hold onto - a friend, an ideal, a memory, a peaceful place, a trinket - anything that has meaning for you, that you know deep in your heart to be true. Remind yourself of it whenever you feel down.
Next, put your body in motion. It's surprising how much this can help. Start walking, running, swimming, yoga, karate, whatever. It doesn't have to be intense or impressive - even just walking slowly around the block for an hour. Just do it every day, or every other day at least. It will give you a space to just be you, and clear your mind, and give structure and accomplishment to those long days.
Talk to a live person. Hold on. It will be okay.
you need to tell your Dr.how you feel.i was having problems taking concerta,i was getting out of control.you might not be sleeping good and drinking energy drinks to keep you going.i was getting used to going full blast.when you slow down then you get depressed.i stopped taking it .but your Dr.needs to know do`nt stop like i did it`s really hard to cope.you might not be able to handle being that depressed.
What is it like to live with someone who is bipolar.?
Ya know I will sympathize w/u.for the simple fact is I myself have depression.& yes I would love to talk w/u,& listen to u.If u would like to talk to me u can e-mail me at:fanofcelebritymathersmarsha... can share w/u my history of depression & help u w/what has helped me.But U say u crave vicodin, well I do too.& w/most depressed people will crave something like that 'cause ur not feeling down,or low all the time.& feeling like that is a drainer.I'd really like to talk w/u & I am a listener.feel free to e-mail me,or even IM me any time.
High and depressed at duplicate time: anybody else?
if you are severly depressed it could actually be because of the meds. some anti-depressants make your depression worse. so think about that. but try to stay away from other drugs/addicting things. you only have 1 liver and you don't want to risk having bad health problems. everything goes through your liver, everything, your liver filters everything that you take in. my grandparents both died of liver cancer becuase of using alchol. try to listen to calming music and eat lots of fruits. and try to stay away from energy drinks stick to protein and natural energizers, like meats, fruits, vegetables, and so on. try to force yourself to do things that you like to do. sleeping is okay but you have to push yourself to do active things like get on the computer listen to calming music, eat some kind of fruit that you really like and talk to your friends.
