it is used in a few ways mostly as an antianxiety medication for people with panic disorders or just generalized anxiety.
and also used to treat insomnia. some people also take it to help with seizures. Ativan affects chemicals in the brain that may become unbalanced and cause anxiety.

it calms your body down and your mind and helps you relax so you can sleep better.
You take it before bed and believe me it will really help it calms every nerve in your body, And depending how many grams your on sometime I have to take 2Mg's.
