ok first if u miss a dose of your meds then NEVER DOUBLE THE DOSE just so u know...but start with your regular dose...u will start feeling very sick. and no smoking will not interfere with your meds however if u need help to stop smoking then ask your dr for CHANTIX its amazing for smokers..no withdrawls.no nothing..u just simply dont want them because they dont taste good.
It would probably be best for you to go ahead and resume your regular dosing schedule. How long have you been off Cymbalta? I would be more inclined to wonder if it is the lack of Cymbalta that is leading to the feelings you described.
i doubt that your smoking again has caused any problem with your meds. the meds you are taking can cause at the beginning of taking them the feelings you have described. they usually go away ,at least to some degree, after about 12 weeks of being on them. statrt taking the meds again just like the doctor prescribed. the more modern meds are better than the older meds, but they still have side effects to them. but personally i'd rather take them than try to fight mental illness without them. if you go on to wedmd you can look up the meds you are taking and they can give you some very pertinent imformation on all your meds including side effects about them so that you don't get frightened by them. Good Luck with your meds. you can also always ask your doctor and your pharmacist about your meds, especially new meds. they are usually very glad to answer any questions you might had. truthfully anti=psychotic drugs are some of the scariest drugs to take.good luck
Yes, the Risperdal can make you sleepy and give you low blood pressure, or more specifically give you "orthostatic hypotension", meaning that the blood pressure can drop very low when you suddenly stand.
Recommendations for restarting your meds really needs to be done by a therapist who knows you.
If you are addicted to cigarettes, restarting them may make you feel better, but at a great risk to your general health.
