Make an appt with your doc NOW. Tell the doc what's been going on & how you feel. Doc can send you to counselor or prescribe something to help you. Don't suffer and you're not alone. Many have anxieties, panic attacks, depression. Your doc can discern if it is chemical or emotional & how to best handle it. Call NOW!
Call your doctor as soon as possible..it could be something as simple as hormone imbalance or chemical inbalance...Let your doctor decide what you have...the doctors have the tests to disqualify why you are feeling so bad.
so sorry, maybe you could see your doctor/ councillor or a psychiatrist for a little help?? i hope you get better soon, you will eventually because everyone does.
- also try and take things easy and relaxe a little bit. ( :
Ok.
First step is to take time off work (if you are working) and see your GP tomorrow without delay.
make sure you explain fully how low and anxious you really feel. Hopefully he will refer you for some counselling and may put you on medication.
You will get better it just takes time. X
I've had anxiety disorder fooor...about...7 years or so, maybe more i'm not sure. Anyway, I take paxil, i used to see a therapist but they didnt seem to help. I get panic attacks but also have other stuff going on, but the paxil absolutely helps, i'm no longer worrying 24/7 or having breakdowns over nothing. Go visit a psychiatrist, they will tell you meds to take, but it DOES take a while for them to start working, and not all of them will work for you specifically. Also, if you don't want to take meds everyday (it's worth it to me though) you can try to cope by going to a good therapist and they will help you with techniques. Good luck! email me if u need anything
Go to your doctor. You may just need a bit of counselling but you may also need some anti depressants. First thing for you to do though is to STOP reading these articles. The more you read the more problems you will find you have!
Has this problem come on for no reason you can think of? You mention having a "terrible time lately" - is this the cause of your problem or does it refer to the problem itself?
Either way, really, you need professional help. I know it's not always popular to say but you need to see your doctor first. He/she will be able to prescribe something to calm you. The doctor will expect you to give the medication a trial before referring you to someone more specialist. By involving people with the training and background in this sort of illness will you be able to find a way through it. Don't delay. You will have to steel yourself to going to the doc. Don't prolong your suffering.
You should go and see your Doctor as soon as possible and also talk to a therapist or councillor about your anxiety. They can help you to deal with your anxiety.
I have anxiety and depression and having been trying an alternative therapy called Emotional Freedom Technique and it has really worked for me and helped me a lot. Since using it I have been feeling a lot better. It's very good at getting rid of all kinds of negative emotions and dealing with all kinds of issues quickly. It does sound bizarre but does work. Might be something that can help you. These are some links about it.
First of all throw away the medical book, if we all read them we would all have 90% of the symptoms of something.
Get to your GP, as other answers have said it could be a simple chemical/ hormone imbalance. Went through it 8 years ago with the good lady, fantastic GP who got her sorted.
Main thing is do not think its all doom and gloom and downhill from here. You will soon be riding high.
Lots of love , hope you are soon feeling better.
You have to get help from a professional immediately! If you are having a breakdown you probably can't handle it on your own. You can go to http://www.psychologytoday.com/... to find a professional in your area. Good luck and take care of yourself!
Stress can lead to anxiety / anxiousness as a result of hormone imbalance and it sounds you have had your share of stress.

Anxiety is a knot of both emotions and physiology. Most early psychologists viewed anxiety as purely emotional: the outward sign of repressed negative feelings and inner conflict. But over 30 years of scientific research into severe anxiety disorders and panic attacks has established that all anxiety has a real, physiological cause that is just as important to treat — especially for relief of anxiety related to hormonal imbalance.
This is good news. It means that anxiety symptoms that were once dismissed as character flaws (think of the terms “worry wart”, “head case” and “control freak”) are not feelings you just have to live with or medicate when they get too severe for you to function. There’s a lot more to the story — and a lot that you can do to get that monkey of anxiety off your back.

Coping with stress and anxiety includes the following steps:
* Laugh: Don't take your life so seriously. A sense of humor helps overcome worry by distracting the mind. Laughter may also produce endorphins, which help ease pain and offer a sense of relaxation and joy. Tell a joke, watch a comedy, and laugh when disaster strikes. You'll feel better with a smile on your face.
* Make plans: Worrying solves nothing. It cannot change situations or outcomes. The only way change comes about is through action. Instead of worrying, empower yourself by acting toward change. Worried about money? Create and implement a budget or seek professional financial counsel. Productivity creates an atmosphere of positive change that worry cannot achieve and makes overcoming anxiety possible.
* Herbs: There are several herbs one may use to help alleviate feelings of stress. Among them, Kava stands out. Kava enables the body to relax physically and mentally. Those with liver problems or Parkinson's disease should not use Kava. Adaptogenic herbs, such as the ginsengs and milk thistle are good herbs to consider. Adaptogens, or nerve tonics, help strengthen the body's resistance to stress. As always, follow the directions on the bottle and check with your doctor before beginning any herbal routine.
* Seek professional help: Having someone with whom you can discuss your worries may help lessen anxiety. A good counselor will listen attentively, enabling you to discover your underlying concerns. Together, you can create productive means of handling stress, so that you may heal emotionally and physically.
I don't get the impression that you are too far gone to help yourself. You have read about it and understood what you read so use this information to turn things around.
If you really can't...then go see your doctor.
